You Take the High Road
Working with Illustrator Abigail Burt I directed and produced two Music Videos as part of Bruno Major’s newest album ‘Columbo’. Taking inspiration from the albums layered artwork both follow journeys that unveil and uncover the deeper meanings behind Bruno’s lyrics.
This Video follows the journey of two tenacious penguins and is a soulful reflection on resilience and self- discovery. Written from a place of personal experience, the song explores the theme of choosing integrity and staying true to oneself in the face of adversity.
Strategic use of walk cycles, parallax movements, and innovative 2D animation techniques allowed us to infused energy and impact while retaining a time and cost effective production schedule.
The final delivery consisted of an end-to-end process from initial storyboarding, to character development, thousands of illustrations, and a final 16:9 music video, which was shared across multiple channels by Bruno's team. Within hours of posting the video had received hundreds of thousands of views, having been globally shared by viewers, helping to expand Bruno's album reach and impact.
